Bosua was named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year, an award he won two years in a row (2016, 2017). In 2018 he was one of sixty players initially invited to the 2018 MLS Combine in Orlando.
Prior to playing soccer at Columbia University, Bosua attended Half Hollow Hills, receiving a varsity letter in football, soccer, and track and field. He played club soccer for Albertson Academy where he captained the U16 and U18 teams, scoring twenty and twenty-three goals respectively.
