The Charleston Battery have agreed to the loan transfer of forward Zeke Soto to USL League One side Greenville Triumph SC, the clubs announced Saturday, pending league and federation approval. Soto will join Greenville on loan for the remainder of the 2025 season.
Soto, 18, signed with the Battery in July 2024 and has made five total appearances for Charleston since making his debut that same month.
“We are excited for this opportunity for Zeke to gain new experience and build on the progress he’s made with the Battery, while still being close by,” said Battery president Lee Cohen. “We know he will be in good hands in Greenville, and we’re looking forward to seeing him continue to develop and compete.”
Soto is set to join the 2020 League One champions, who currently sit seventh in the table.
Per terms of the agreement, the Battery reserve the right to recall Soto from his loan at any point.
The club wishes Zeke the best of luck during his stay in the Upstate.
