The Charleston Battery are excited to continue their partnership with the Charles Dennis Foundation for the 2025 Chuck Dennis Memorial 5v5 Soccer Tournament, with registrations now open. This annual charity event will take place on Sat., June 7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cheryll Woods Flowers Soccer Complex, next to the Battery’s home at Patriots Point.
The tournament welcomes teams across various age groups and skill levels, including U8 through adult divisions, with categories for men’s 35+, men’s 55+, and co-ed teams. Each team will consist of five field players, with no goalkeepers, and can have up to eight players on the roster. All participating teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games, each comprising two 12-minute halves.
In appreciation of their participation, every player will receive a complimentary ticket to the Charleston Battery’s following home match against Phoenix Rising FC on Sat., June 21, at 7:30 p.m. The game will feature a post-match fireworks show, and the tournament’s top teams will be recognized at halftime.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Charles Dennis Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing scholarships and financial assistance to young athletes in the community.
