The Charleston Battery announced Thursday the permanent transfer of forward Diego Gutierrez to USL Championship side Monterey Bay FC, pending league and federation approval. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Gutierrez featured in 18 matches for the Battery across all competitions in the 2024 campaign.
The club thanks Diego for his contributions to the club and wishes him well in this new chapter of his career.
