Premier Charleston beverage provider to create unique experiences at Patriots Point for 2021 season
The Charleston Battery announced Friday the continuation of a dynamic partnership with Southern Eagle Distributing / Southern Crown Partners ahead of the 2021 season. As one of the largest beverage providers in the Southeast and one of the oldest continual Anhaueser-Busch distributors in the country, Southern Eagle partners with the Battery this season to provide thirsty fans in-game libations including beer, wine and hard seltzer at Patriots Point while building unique in-stadium experiences for fans to enjoy all season long.
“We’re excited to provide a unique and varied beverage lineup to our fans this season,” said Battery head of community Scott Krenitski. “We’re proud to provide local, regional, and national options for people to enjoy while watching their favorite team. We couldn’t ask for a better partner to provide a solid lineup of matchday beverages and in-stadium experiences than Southern Eagle.”
Beyond the lineup of beverages that will be available at Patriots Point, including Bud Light, Heineken, Asheville-based Wicked Weed Brewing and local favorite Rusty Bull, Southern Eagle will provide in-stadium venues. The Wicked Weed Craft Bar will provide fans with a variety of craft beers including Wicked Weed’s famous IPAs and sour styles. The Bud Light Corner Kick Deck will provide fans an up-close view of the action right next to the corner spot. And the Heineken Highlight Bar located on the east end of the stadium will ensure fans don’t miss a minute of the action as they get the next round with plenty of TVs displaying the match.

To kick things off as the Battery return to Patriots Point on May 14, Bud Light and Southern Eagle will be providing fans pre-match entertainment with the Bud Light Pre-Match Concert featuring David Higgins. Higgins, a staple of the Charleston music scene, will play a lively set of original music and classic rock favorites from when gates open at 5:30 until 30 minutes before kickoff.
