All camps are open to boys and girls aged 5-14. Charleston Battery camps focus on technical development and will be divided based on age and skill level.
Temoc Suarez, who is entering his eleventh year as Charleston Battery Camp Director, will oversee all youth camps. Suarez has a wealth of experience coaching youth players in Charleston. Suarez and his staff have focused on teaching individual technical skills to over 50,000 campers during their ten year involvement with the Charleston Battery.
“We’re incredibly lucky to have Temoc as our Camp Director,” said Charleston Battery Head Coach and General Manager Mike Anhaeuser. “He has a great rapport with the young players, which makes for a fun atmosphere conducive to learning. Temoc and his staff do a fantastic job of teaching the fundamental skills that will help kids excel at the next level as they progress in their careers.”
All camps include technical training, scrimmages, a private stadium tour, a ticket to a Battery home game, a discount coupon to the Pro Shop and an autograph and Q+A session with Charleston Battery players. Half day and full day options are available for all camps. Half day camp runs from 9:00 am -12:00 pm and costs $175, full day camp runs from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (includes lunch) and costs $275.
