The Charleston Battery defeated the College of Charleston 3-0 at Patriots Point on Wednesday in their latest preseason fixture.
Robbie Crawford opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a shot off the rebound inside the box. His strike would give the Battery a 1-0 lead through halftime and Aidan Apodaca and Nick Markanich would find the back of the net in the second half to seal the victory. It’s the second consecutive clean sheet held by the Battery as preparations continue towards the March 11 opening night match.
