Camilo Sánchez, 28, enters his first season with the Battery.
Sánchez brings a wealth of experience from playing in Europe and Asia and now embarks on his first experience playing in North America after earning a roster spot following a successful spell as a trialist.
Sánchez most recently competed for Pegadaian Championship side PSIS Semarang in Indonesia, where he featured in 11 matches and scored one goal in the 2025-26 season.
The bulk of Sánchez’s career has been played in Malta, for clubs Sannat Lions FC, Luqa St. Andrew’s FC and Melita FC, along with Libyan side Abu Salim SC. Sánchez has played in 70 matches and scored 20 goals across all competitions in his senior career.
The 6-2 striker hails from Barranquilla, Colombia, and developed at the youth team Club Deportivo Unión Real Villanueva and in the youth sector of Uniautónoma FC.
