The Primary and Secondary Kits are available for purchase now at shop.charlestonbattery.com or at Patriots Point on Saturday when gates open at 6 p.m. ET. Fans are advised to order their kits by Wednesday to be able to have them delivered in time for the home opener.
The Charleston Battery defeated the College of Charleston 3-0 at Patriots Point on Wednesday in their latest preseason fixture.
Robbie Crawford opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a shot off the rebound inside the box. His strike would give the Battery a 1-0 lead through halftime and Aidan Apodaca and Nick Markanich would find the back of the net in the second half to seal the victory. It’s the second consecutive clean sheet held by the Battery as preparations continue towards the March 11 opening night match.

The Charleston Battery welcomed fans to Patriots Point for the first time in 2023 for a preseason match against the University of South Carolina Men’s Soccer Team.
The game featured spirited play from both sides, ending in a 0-0 draw. Additionally, the match is the first of three for the Battery across the next seven days, creating an early test similar to the rigors of the regular season. The Black and Yellow next take on the College of Charleston Cougars this Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. ET in a match that’s free to the public.

The Charleston Battery played their first road match of the preseason when they visited Charlotte FC at Bank of America Stadium after the originally-scheduled home match was moved due to inclement weather in the Charleston area.
The Battery held firm through the first 45 minutes, Robbie Crawford and Derek Dodson nearly found the back of the net, as the game was scoreless at halftime. Charleston featured a rotated squad to start the second half but scored two goals that were ultimately chalked off for offside and Charlotte netted three in the half.

The Charleston Battery started off their preseason with a friendly against Coastal Carolina, winning 6-0 over Chants. The Battery dominated the two 45-minute halves, both featuring independent lineups. Aidan Apodaca, Augi Williams, Handwalla Bwana and Chris Allan all found the back of the net.
The momentum from the victory will carry into training this week ahead of the Feb. 11 home match against Charlotte FC. Check out the top shots from the match:
