
The Charleston Battery announced Sunday the club’s 2025 preseason schedule. The slate includes matches against MLS, USL and college sides as the Black and Yellow prepare for the upcoming USL Championship season.
Charleston’s preseason camp will begin on January 16 at Patriots Point. The team will then travel to Florida for a pair of friendlies with MLS sides, against Austin FC on January 24 in Clearwater and against D.C. United on February 1 in Boca Raton. Both games will be closed to the public.
The Battery will return home for a series of closed-door matches against USL and college teams: University of South Carolina and Georgia Southern University (February 9); North Carolina FC (February 15); Greenville Triumph SC (February 19); Charlotte Independence (February 22).
Charleston’s final preseason match will be open to fans when the Black and Yellow host Clemson Univeristy on March 1 at 6 p.m. ET at Patriots Point. Tickets are on sale now via SeatGeek.com for $5 general admission. Season Members will be able to claim tickets to the match for free in their Member portal.
The Battery will kick off the 2025 USL Championship season on Sat., March 8, against Louisville City FC at Patriots Point. Tickets for the season opener will be on sale in mid-January via SeatGeek.com.
