If you’re excited about the upcoming 2024 season but unsure how to watch the Battery’s matches when you can’t attend in person, we’re here to help! This article aims to be a resource for you and your fellow supporters so you don’t miss a minute of the action.
Where are games being broadcast?
New to this year, matches are split between the ESPN family of networks and the CBS family of networks.
Currently, seven of the Battery’s games will be broadcast on the free-to-watch CBS Sports Golazo Network, two on CBS Sports Network (national television), two on ESPN2 (national television) and the rest on ESPN+.
Do I need a paid account for the games on CBS Sports Golazo Network?
No! The games are free and can be accessed via various methods and TV/mobile apps. You do not need to make an account nor sign up for a paid subscription to watch the Golazo Network.
Fans can stream the Golazo games directly on the Golazo website, the CBS Sports App (under the ‘Live TV’ section), the Pluto TV app, Roku app and the Paramount+ app.
If a game is on the Golazo Network, it will not be on ESPN+, but it could air on local TV for clubs who have local linear agreements.

How do I know where games will be broadcast? Where can I find a link to watch one?
You can find the broadcast information via numerous avenues.
The Battery’s schedule page will provide the streaming/broadcast location and include links to the games where possible.
Social media posts on and prior to matchday will include information about the broadcast. The match preview articles, published roughly 48 hours prior to kickoff, will have this information and links at the bottom of the article.
The USL website will also publish a weekly guide with broadcast information on all games that matchweek.
We want to make it easy for you to find out where to watch the game if you can’t attend in person.
Do I need a subscription to watch the ESPN+ games?
Yes. The games on ESPN+ require a paid ESPN+ subscription or one of the Disney bundles that includes ESPN+ in the package.
How can I watch the games on ESPN2 or CBS Sports Network?
The games on ESPN2 and CBSSN can be accessed through your typical cable or satellite TV subscription.
They will not, however, be accessible via ESPN+ or Paramount+ subscriptions. Nor will they be available on local linear channels, they are exclusive to ESPN2/CBSSN.
Fans may use the ESPN or CBS Sports apps or websites to stream the games by logging in with their TV subscription credentials.
Can international viewers still watch games for free on YouTube?
Yes! Fans across Canada and the Eastern Hemisphere can watch all USL Championship games live for free on the league’s YouTube channel. Fans in Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean, are encouraged to check their local ESPN listings for access to all USLC matches throughout the 2024 season.
