MUSC Health Stadium is a major concert venue in the Southeast and has been the site for various musical events, including the annual Southern Ground Music & Food Festival featuring Zac Brown Band. The SGMFF is the largest music festival in Charleston, with more than 23,000 attendees.
MUSC Health Stadium is a hub for the community and is donated for a wide variety of charitable and philanthropic events throughout the year, including the annual Charleston Oktoberfest Festival.
The Lowcountry’s oldest and most beloved Oktoberfest celebration returns to MUSC Health Stadium annually for a memorable day of seasonal beer, German music and food, and homemade fun.
More than just a celebration of fall and all-things German, Charleston Oktoberfest has become the city’s favorite annual community picnic, with games, outdoor activities for children and an atmosphere that encourages friends and families to get away from their various screens and enjoy the simple pleasure of each others’ company.
In addition to music and dancing under the big festival tent, there are field-day contests and jump castles.
MUSC Health Stadium has been the site for the Carolina Challenge Cup featuring Major League Soccer since 2004; additional sporting events hosted in the stadium include:
International Soccer Exhibitions – Rangers FC (UK) West Bromwich Albion (UK), Sunderland (UK), Bolton Wanderers (UK) Portsmouth F.C. (UK), Puebla (Mexico ) & Atlante (Mexico).
