A native of Cannes, France, the 25-year-old spent the 2021 season with Austin Bold FC, making five appearances in the USL Championship with the capital club.
Before joining Austin, Fauroux made his professional debut with Norwegian side Valdres FK in 2019, featuring in eight games.
Fauroux’s playing career started at the youth level with his hometown club, AS Cannes (U17), before moving to the academy of French giants AS Monaco (U19).
The shot-stopper made the move Stateside to play at Lake Erie College in 2015, where he was named GLIAC Goalkeeper of the Year after a strong 2016 campaign. Fauroux then transferred to Florida International University in 2017 and he garnered all-conference honors in his first season. He rejoins former FIU teammate Andrew Booth in Charleston after the two shared the pitch for the Panthers from 2017 to 2018.
