On Thursday afternoon, the United Soccer League made the decision to postpone the 2020 season for a minimum of 30 days.

"In consultation with local, state and national health authorities, as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Department of Homeland Security, we have temporarily suspended match play for a minimum of 30 days.

The 30-day postponement includes all Charleston Battery matches through April 12th which will be rescheduled.

"The Charleston Battery fully support the league's decision. Fan, player, and community health and safety is our top priority," said Rob Salvatore.
