Juan Pablo Angel competed in Carolina Challenge Cup in the middle of his two-decade long career with New York Red Bulls.

Angel scored 224 goals in 617 professional appearances. After beginning his career with Atletico National in his home country of Colombia, Angel moved to River Plate in Argentina where he averaged just under a goal every two games.
