Charleston Battery named USL First Division Organization of the Year
Charleston, SC. The Charleston Battery has been named USL First Division Organization of the Year by United Soccer Leagues. The Battery received the award at the USL Hall of Fame and Awards Dinner held last week in Tampa FL. The award is presented each year to one franchise in recognition of outstanding performances and excellence off the field during the previous season.
The Charleston Battery was joined by the Richmond Kickers (USL Second Division), the Fresno Fuego (Premier Development League) and Atlanta Silverbacks (W-League), who each received Organization of the Year honors in their respective leagues.
