THE CHARLESTON BATTERY SOCCER TEAM RUNS THE COOPER RIVER BRIDGE RUN AND INVITES SOCCER FANS TO JOIN THEM FOR A “BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS” AT THE BUCCANEER
Charleston, SC. The Charleston Battery soccer team will participate in the Cooper River Bridge Run on Saturday March 27 as part of their continued preparation for the start of the USL season on April 17 (first home game April 24 vs. Pittsburgh). Following the run, the players and coaching staff will be watching the English Premier League matches at the Buccaneer Restaurant.
The Buccaneer, located in downtown Charleston just off East Bay Street, will open their doors at 10:00am to celebrate the team’s completion of the run. Breakfast, food and drink specials will be available and English Premier League Soccer will be on televisions throughout the tavern.
