Reggies at the Table We got a passerby to take this picture. Unfortunately, Jeff is missing. The wet-brain in the backwards-cap is me, Chris. Next is Jim, Karl, Kit, Dieu, Brenda, and William.
Battery Ball The raffle prize for this week's match. These balls look like they'd be pretty cheap, but they actually play well and last a long time, as long as you don't kick them into a swamp.
Barry Barry's using his brew to hide the New England Patriots logo on his shirt. (Just kidding, Barry!)
Mark Mark is another stalwart of the O-35 league, and is a hell of nice guy!
Wayne and Barry Wayne gets the rabbit-ear's treatment from Barry. Man, the esplanade is all eaten up with O-35 soccer players!
William Thinks About the Game William seems to be in the process of visualizing a Battery victory just before the game starts. It must have worked!
Joanna Joanna manages our (Chris's) co-ed soccer team in Mt. Pleasant, and is also a great defender!
Joanna, Scott, and Reiner My co-ed teammates. Had to really brighten this picture, unfortunately, so it's a little grainy.
Reiner You want to stay away from Reiner on the pitch, especially when you have the ball!
Scott Cleans Up Scott helps Joanna manage our co-ed team. He also got past me and scored in our last O-35 game. Son of a.... Anyway, he and Joanna a lovely couple!
Stefan Stefan is the goal-keeper on our co-ed team in Mt. Pleasant. He uses any and every part of his body to stop the ball!
Jayne and Brewskie A good picture of my wife. Poor dear has to put up with being married to a Reggie. No wonder she's drinking. 'ow 'bout a little 'einie, dearie?
Joyce and Brenda Joyce is the Membership Coordinator this year, and Brenda returns as Treasurer. They both are doing one heck of a good job this year!
The Pledge Just a little view during the Pledge of Allegiance. I got yelled at while taking this one. And the camera doesn't have optical zoom, sigh.
Boys On the Pitch A beautiful view of the stadium as the setting sun shines on the East stands, and game proceeds.
Dieu At Table Dieu's the current President of the Regiment. Look's like I caught him with his hand in the till.
Dieu Wants to Kill Jim At least, he will when he sees the jackanapes that Jim is pulling behind his head!
Colin and His Wife Colin's the past President and founding President of the Regiment. What a lovely couple!
Jayne and Jayne When Jayne (Chris's Jayne) and Jayne (Chris's Jayne, too) get together, the game is of secondary importance compared to the gossip.
Jayne Nicholas I caught her coming up the stairs. Serves her right for getting into my view of the Battery game!

Jim and Scarf Jim's our raving/roving match reporter. He has to tie the scarf around his head to keep his brains from leaking out. Believe it... or not.

Jim's Soccer Hunger Here's Jim slobbering all over the raffle prize for this night's match. I tell you, kids, it's not a happy sight when you overindulge.

Jim the Clacker While working up his strategy for the next Match Report, Jim works off excess energy by cranking a clacker.

Joyce Joyce again!
Kim and Jim Two of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. Both are very active in youth soccer, too.
Kit and Karl Kit manages the Southern Derby, the Charleston Battery's USL discussion forum, and makes goodies for the players. Observe her rubber chicken, reserved for the whiners of the opposing team. Karl has many tricks up his sleeve, including the tom drum. Little do the players know what transpires both in and under the stands of Blackbaud Stadium!
Mark Pilling in Motion Mark, a charter member of the Regiment, is caught on film as he hurries along under the stands.

Regiment Table Here's a grainy view of the Regiment table under the West stands. I'm still learning how to hold the camera button halfway down without clicking it before the camera has evaluated the distance and the lighting.

Kit in Pub Kit enjoys the saturated ambiance of the Three Lion's Pub.
Karl's Victory Cigar In the grand tradition of the legendary Celtics coach, Red Auerbach, Karl enjoys a victory cigar up in the pub. Karls the fire expert of the Regiment, except we're not sure if he prevents them, or starts them.
