Major League Soccer's Kevin Anderson Signs.
Head Coach Alan Dicks, " Kevin joins us at an important point of the season and with his experience he will be a factor in our run to the play-offs. We've been fortunate enough to have had him on loan so we know exactly what he's capable of. This is a strong addition to the Battery roster." Anderson has played in the A-League before. In 1998 he was a part of the Minnesota Thunder side that lost the A-League Championship game to the Rochester Raging Rhinos. Before playing for Minnesota, Anderson was a Long Island Rough Rider, winning a national Championship with them in 1995. A graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, Anderson was a two time All American and led SCSU to the 1992 NCAA Division II Championship. He has played for the U.S. National team at the U-18 and U-20 levels.
